the is the stuff of dreams. very cool!
I have the same Messbecher from my Oma
I have one of those grinders, same thing happened to mine. The ceramic hopper got broken on it. Thanks for the idea. I have kids so I'll have to cover the chain. Maybe with acrylic so you can still see it. Awesome idea to use a wiper motor, perfect speed so it doesn't run too fast and burn the beans.
Some TV production company should hire you to design technology for a show set in a post-apocalyptic world. Man, it would be an awesome set full of Laura Kampf goodness!
Absolutely love your repair and upgrade projects, they're so ingenious. Also, love the nameplate element that shows off your "graphic design" style which is so unique and which I find very aesthetically appealing.
Also einfach klasse.
Soooo damn dope
Amazing. Looks fantastic. I want one in my life.
Auf alle Fälle cooler als so ne moderne Jura Vollautomatiko :) Well done, Laura!
This will be my project for 2021. Thanks
Always put the closed end of the spring clip towards the direction of travel.
Lady, you sure got style!
High Quality ... Love it
mechanical movement and coffee - is there a better combo?
The spirit of this grinder is perfect. Next visit to Koln it would be a pleasure to see your work.
chainlock is the wrong way mounted, allways closed side in drive direction
did u make that espresso machine?
I really like the visible chain!
do you think there would be a tool that can centre different sized holes? Like when the square piece was welded to the gear.
Sensible y cruda recuperación! Maravilloso. Es una obra de arte.
That tape trick to transfer hole layout!!! Amazing!
Great design! LazyGrinder ;)
next episode: "I make a coffee machine out of trash" xD love this series
Lovely!!... and what name of the background music?
You are an inspiration!
I know that thing... I turned it uncountable times in my childhood just pretending to grind some stuff while playing... Holy shit
Great project! The only thing that bugs me is that the chain is under tension on the bottom side. It should be tensioned on top, like bicycle for example, so that the gravity keeps chain on driving chainring.
You are an inspiration Laura!! Thank you for sharing.
You show how you grind coffee for your portafilter. Is the grinder really good enough for that? Can you even adjust the grind?
The "masking tape/hole template" idea is absolutely brilliant!! Subscribed!
that was just beautiful and smart + a pleasure to watch
Awesome artpiece and awesome job as always Laura!!
It looks soooo geil!!!
Amazing! Impressive! AND what a style! Love this restoration work!!!
Now you are back in the saddle! Love the grinder!
I love this! And I can't believe that just last week I dismantled and scrapped the windscreen wiper motor I've had lying around for years......
Ain’t nothing like a great cup of coffee on a cold day .
te felicito
Amazingly done!
Not gonna lie, I forgot I was playing this video in the background and was just chilling to the music for a while there.
gorgeous little thing! well done!
Liked and subbed. Fantastic job!
nice work I did this with a grain grinder that I got tired of turn the crank on .
Klasse!
I don't really drink coffee but would start doing it just to look cool AF using that machine. Kudos from Brazil, this build was awesome. I wonder how it would've looked using hardwood.
Echt cool, den Messbecher finde ich Hammer.
my question: why the chain, its 1:1 and adds complexity, seems to me like it would be easier to just put the motor straight onto the grinder shaft. you definable have the equipment to make a coupler and shorten the coffee grinder shaft. and as far as packaging is concerned just turn the whole machine 90 degrees, the axis of the grinder doesn't matter.
For a better design. It looks awesome
Now I know why I save all those old VW parts. Time be creative. Bravo. Nice creative project. :)
Mahlzeit
That was cool, but you can buy coffee pre ground these days I hear.....you’d need a pretty hefty source of 12 volts DC for that.....
I used to have that same messbecher measuring cup, thing was cool
Are you left handed, only the ampersand was backwards?
A bit coarse for espresso, perfect for pour over.
Great idea Laura, you should make it a regular feature to do periodic videos that have exactly the same idea of taking broken trash and remaking/upgrading the device!
ohhh this was so easy on the eye. Top marks for the build, the filming and music. Ovation!
Lovely concept, execution and video. Thank you.
I like it very much. Especially using the old Messbecher as hopper!!
so cool!
Good idea making something old with a modern twist. Just a suggestion, I would flip the master link on the chain around so the locking clip isn't seen from the front.
Just buy instant coffee
Spectacular :)
unsure how the rabbit hole landed me here but pleasantly surprised - subscribed
Schönes Teil!
Those drums were so monotonise , I stopped watching !
What grind is your coffee
👍
Very Good! Love it.
"I made a Coffe Grinder from Trash!" "Nice, I'd have a tea then"
Is your home filled with many of your creations? Give us a tour sometime? 🙂
Nice 👍
@5:12 : I learned a new way of transferring bolt patterns. Thanks Laura.
It is a BMW E36 wiper motor. ;)
Really clever design work coupled with high levels of fabrication skill. Wish I could come up with ideas as good as that. And I don't particularly like coffee!
So cool and very unique, well done
Next episode - I make me replacement fingers out of half a sausage and a transmission from a 72 VW Beetle.
Great idea. I love it. Thanks for sharing
I think you're what they call a creative genius
Dear Friend Laura, an excellent creation. Totally engrossing to watch. I surely will enjoy more of your good work. Blessings, andré
Loved It.
Mad Max’s coffee grinder 👍
Being a big coffee drinker myself Laura this build made me smile , its Awesome i would have it on my wall no prob well done 😍😍😁😁👍👍
Leider geil!
This thing has got to be loud as f*ck.
Brilliant piece of work 👍
🤣👍🏻
That came out great, thanks Laura!
Outstanding build, thank you for sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍

Excelente trabajo!!! Cuida tus manos! - German - Montevideo - Uruguay
Nice music, goes well with the coffee grinder project , a nice project.
Mega cool geworden!
Awesome. And the fact that you can grind out some puns in another language makes it even awesomer!! ❤️ ❤️
Laura, I featured your channel as an inspiration in my latest video, welding up a mini rocket stove with my Lincoln 210 MP (which I bought from Chad of ManCrafting fame). Just wanted you to be aware. I also deviated from my normal editing style and attempted to edit in your style. Let me know if I got it right. :-)
You made a coffee grinder from trash? I've been doing it wrong. I'm always making trash from ground coffee!
The only thing broken was the hopper?
🔴keren itu...bg☺️💕
