Laura you are a cool and beautiful girl! Your hands are magic!
Are we just going to breeze right over that bandsaw cut and glue up? Perfection. 👌🏼
I love this project!
I still love the way that you made the tabletop.
Nice!
Neat, but I thought you were going to do something more awesome like putting a heated plate above the stove, like a Mongolian bbq.
😁😁👍👍👍👍
Gawd I loved that technique you used to scribe the boards together along the lines of live edges instead of straight lines! So clever and unique!
Only found your channel a while ago but love the creativity!! So jealous of that workshop.
Great video thank you. Ms. Laura, what are headphones are those that you're wearing? Are they for music or just sound protection?
We love it! So nice to see our tools being put to such good use :-)
Hi Laura, since you have built so many wood burning ovens I though you might find this useful. Building the fire "upside down" it creates less smoke and CO. I couldn't find the original video, this takes you to a Hungarian group but the video is in German: facebook.com/macsoi01/posts/1775768805902172
Note on the editing; nice job! The beats start on scene starts, etc. subtle, but very well done !!
what's up with the glitchy facebook-craft-video-music-loop in the background?
Super!
Mal wieder einfach super!
Wow, echt cool
🔥🔥👍👏👏😃
That thing is going to burn some legs
you should make some bar stools next,
I love wood and I hate all these stoves using wood as raw material Cheer up from Athens
I absolutely love your videos, they are so much more than just a build video. Such a nice flow with your choice of music. As always, you inspire me.
when are we going to see Laura Kampf building his own custom motorcycle??...I have been doing this question for the last year hahaha
Very cool
That’s not about heated bar - that’s about enjoying life 🤙😎 Laura you are cool 🤘🌲 come to Latvia 🌲
Awesome soundtrack with the steeldrum samples matching the boiler
嗯 good
Brilliant 🥳😉
Oben kaltes Bier, unten geröstete Nüsse.
Cool! Would be interesting to hear how you landed on that leg design.
THat so needs a built in FONDUE POT!!!!
I wish i could be as awesome as you. 1:30 i was just wondering why there are no sparks with this kind of welding? What is it called? Newer than a newbie question ^^'
That is TIG welding. The sparky one is called MIG
gefällt mir:-)
i wonder if my bandsaw is good enough to pull off that trick.
Amazing thank you.
i need more of this in my life. chill music and nice builds.
Call me when the Glühwein is ready! LOL
And now to watch again with the voice over!
Could you make a tuba out of the coil you took of the barrel ?
Not afraid the table will bend (it looks like it does that a bit) or even crack because of the fire?
Watch out Laura! 0:17 Shoting in front of the sparks of angle grinder can damage your lenses. I know from personal experience.
Workshop trolley needed for the heavy projects? 😀. Maybe height adjustable?
I would like to know the temps that metal unshielded skin reaches... Please. I need to know at what "cold temperature" that outer metal is in equilibrium so it won't burn the clothes or skin right off you. 'Cause "design for dumb people, and the universe will give you a dumber one", but a flame next to a metal sheet equals great thermal conductivity. Love your videos. You are great inspiration and this is my first comment ever. Love your channel!!! 😁
Sehr coole Idee!
Those long point miters are tough to make beautiful. Elsewhere, perhaps “welding tips and tricks”, it was suggested to slightly bevel the miter’s long points to create a small “v” in order to give the weld a little “elbow room” for a more attractive bead. Love everything about your videos, the vibe, the skill, the professionalism, the great imagination, the humor, the authenticity, the passion. Vielen dank und Hals und bein bruch. 😉 PS: pls wear a respirator for lung protection. TÅ is now using one in his wonderful forge work including grinding and most other aspects. At 68 I’m wishing I’d been more diligent in caring for my body.
You could totally market this to restaurants due to our current pandemic! And even in the future this is a splendid idea! Keep up the great work as usual! Such a huge inspiration.
I really liked the use of the handle
Best idea I’ve seen in a long time! Nice job
A cold beer and WARM NUTS... what more can you ask for.
When the postman desperately hopes to have a letter for Kampf, so that he can warm his hands .. 😊.
I'm pretty new to welding, Just wondering why you done a mixture of tig and mig
Smudo sightings: - 0:44 Smu relaxes after giving Laura some last-minute welding tips. - 7:35 (via wall portrait)
Wow!! nice for winter!
Nice project! How does the air get into the heater? Probably I missed the point here you added the venting-openings.
Laura your videos are always fantastic. Music selection is very enjoyable and downright relaxing. Every step of the way I'm engaged in the build process. I can't wait to see the next one!
Coole Idee!
Super Projekt! Wer braucht da noch nen Heizpilz :-)
Another cool creation! Thanks for sharing, and as always, be well, stay safe, and take good care!
For those out there...if you work on vessels that were used for other purposes make sure there are no retained fumes in that tank before cutting and grinding. MANY people have been killed and maimed. Filling it with water before working on it is one trick.
There was only water in this vessel. But you are right of course. You need to know what’s inside before cutting it open
Maybe I'm late, but I have never seen someone glue one board on top of another to get identical, perfectly mating joints! Mind blown! 🤯🤯🤯❤❤❤
Check out my video „making a perfect table top“ :)
Nice project! I do have a couple of questions for you. First: it appears that the container you were working on was stainless steel. When welding some stainless alloys, getting exposure to hexavalent chromium can be an issue. Was that consideration for you? Also, I’m not sure what kind of container you were modifying, but i’m wondering what steps you took to ensure that the gas is contained inside it were safe for both cutting and hot work? Danke!
Has anyone said it yet? WunderBAR!
Killer look! Super functional. Hope this works well for you this COVID winter.
Like always👏🏼
Great idea, nice execution
Fabulous!!!
I'll drink to that! 😉. Great job Laura.
You sure do like the angle grinder Laura
Marvellous idea! Love your new-found timber joining and the recycling of an open-sided shipping container too.
That bandsaw job on the top was such an awesome idea
Vous êtes formidable Laura ! Merci
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. In addition to your metal origami, you have an artistic eye and foresight of design. Wishing you and your companion peace, health and happiness. Again, sincere thanks for sharing your design journey. Peace Laura.
Smart
Great addition to the Containerzebo.. 🤔Caution.. when the joints on the table top look like straight lines... you've reached your beverage limit. 😩
Mega Idee!
awesome work and design!!! love your videos
Na dann mal Prost!
I saw the photo on the wall, did something happen to Rudi?
Very smart to attach the hinges before cutting the rest of the door! Great project, as always.
Super cool project as always
why so many projects that burn wood and pollute?
Great.
nice build, however i see it becoming quite difficult to empty the ashes from the bottom, perhaps a removeable bottom tray?
How cool would it be to get to hang out with Laura, have a cold beer, and be able to pick her brain? Great as always!
Cool build just one thing, isnt it hot to have a metal handle on that?
Awesome. Keep up the great work.
Liked it before I watched it! Wasn't disappointed. If I make one it will have a place to heat food on top, 'cause, you know, nachos...
